Questions we hear on the phone almost daily

Why are so many investors now investing in ETFs?

ETFs allow you to benefit from the long-term growth of the economy and multiply your money. ETFs are not only particularly cost-effective but also very flexibly tradable. This way, you can access your money at any time without worrying about terms, lock-in periods, or redemption fees. ETFs spread risks so widely that situations like a total loss become unlikely. Those who have invested in ETFs for several years have been able to weather most economic crises and recorded good returns after a crisis.

Do ETFs have a bubble risk?

No. ETFs are merely a means to participate in the capital market. ETFs allow the investor to invest broadly in several hundred titles without having to buy each of these titles individually. As a result, one benefits

from different price movements and spreads the risk widely.

Even in the worst case scenario, i.e. the insolvency of the ETF manager, your money is protected because the invested funds...

1. ...are valued by the ETF manager as special assets and therefore do not become part of the bankruptcy estate.

2. ...will continue to be invested in the market. Only the manager would change.

Why should I set up a savings plan in addition to a one-time investment?

The cost average effect is one of the most powerful effects that comes with a monthly savings plan. For example, if you invest €25,000 once and save €100 monthly in your Ginmon account, you purchase ETF shares for €100 every month. Regardless of whether market prices are currently high or low, you benefit from the average purchase price.
